Consumption of Energy a non-renewable resource.

Oil and gas is consumed by us daily. Petroleum based products in our lipstick and vaseline and gas to power our cars, leaded or unleaded, the choice is yours. The non-renewable resource becomes used. Crude is an irreplaceable energy source. A barrel of oil today is at $100US. The fixed income investor can have a good investment in these products across the world that economy is struggling to keep it up. Wall street is optimistic as usual. Israel gets fuel for its Gaza Strip by Qatar. Power plants can keep working and keep employing and paying people and supply energy too. Oil refineries are still popping up across the world so it stands to only reason that the high paying jobs of the oil industry is going to continue to soar while environment pollution is getting worse. Air pollution and water pollution take the backburner on this #globalvillage because of the need to drill for oil. Employment is not a problem, oil companies are handing out jobs all the time to both sexes. The problem may be to be employed in a diverse company Oil and gas is male dominated. This dominated employment industry must supply energy for the world as its' non-renewable resource is worn out.

Oil Exploration and Production Movements

Oil exploration in Trinidad and Tobago Gulf Of Paria reached new developments due to the seismic surveying jobs around the country.

Petrotrin is now setting up to perform seismic surveying in the Gulf Of Paria.

Notice that many other countries with oil companies who have interest in blocks offshore the coast of Trinidad have 3D seismic surveys already done and interpreted.
Example

Petrotrin is far behind as far as 1962 using 2D seismic surveys
The survey is expected to begin in December and continue for five (5) months2013, 24hrs a day.

Petrotrin does claim that it would not disrupt the fishing industry which has proved impossible to deny it has not.

Many fishermen say that it is destroying their livelihood.

The EMATT stated that it would be stringent and specific to testing and that the surveying would not harm the environment and not harm the fishing industry.

Petrotrin Rneeds the information

Without the proper seismic information, drilling and modeling, is slowed for the country.

The task is to hurry and go in and set up in the Gulf of Paria and complete the survey and come out.

Ensure the water is still habitable and not damaged by surveying and leave the fishermen to continue their work once it is not pirating tt oil.

Fisher folk have deemed the activities as seismic bombings.

Petrotrin ensures that no explosives are being used.

Movement from non-renewable to renewable resources.

When are we going to remove non-renewable resources like oil and natural gas and effectively and efficiently use fuel by bio-gas???

Wind energy a renewable energy resource

Wind energy is environmentally friendly for our planet earth.
Wind energy is air in motion caused by the uneven heating of the earth's surface by the sun.
Wind stored energy is mainly used in boating, when momentum is needed sails are raised or opened. Mechanical energy.
The main energy today is petroleum used worldwide.
Wind energy as a resource has been harvested for hundreds of years.
Strong wind is very harmful and can destroy farms and homes. Strong winds can transport objects to kill man and animals.

Air pollution
Water pollution
Soil pollution
Pollution from solid wastes
Noise, and radiation
Air pollution turns clean, odorless air into hazy, smelly air that kills people and damages property. One of the most common form of air pollution is smog. Each time a fuel is burnt it produces a type of pollutant, from of colorless poison gas to clouds of thick black smoke.
Contributing factors:  Control pollution by designated lakes and rivers as well as clean up acts, recycle.
Enforce: restrictions involving use of materials that can pollute.

Pollution is harmful to the environment. Everyday human rights activist and environmental authorities @ema fight to keep pollution out of our life.
It is too dangerous to have oil in the water.
Drinking water becomes contaminated.

Companies use all sorts of environmental products and additives to enhance bio remedial actions.

When oil is dumped or drained into the ocean, plant and animal life die.
The crude is toxic and has the covering and coating ability to destroy anything organic it touches.
Bio remediation practices of neutralization must be implemented in the country.

When oil is in soil and humalite is introduced a large remediation action occurs. Humalite is a naturally occurring, soft brown organic material found adjacent to sub-bituminous coal deposits in Canada. It can accelerate hydrocarbon remediation through control of nutrients, moisture and pH.

Oil sheen reduction and prevention is crucial for all oil and gas platforms to operate efficiently and effectively.

Oil settles on top of water as a thin layer, the thickness of the layer is due to an optic phenomena called interference causing the thin layer to shine with colors.

An oil spill is the release of liquid petroleum hydrocarbon into the environment, especially in the marine areas, due to human activity.

It can be released from tankers, wells, offshore platforms and drilling rigs.

Oil spills because of waste oil or any other method take weeks, months and years to clean up.

Oil penetrates the skin of birds and other animals exposed to it and suffocates them.

Oil in water affects animals buoyancy which would lead to their death.

Clean up and recovery are dependent on the type of oil spilled, the temperature of the water after bio-degradation and evaporation as well as the beaches and shorelines involved. A viscometer temperature control device should be on hand whenever handling petroleum fluids at surface for proper metering, measuring and monitoring.
Oil and gas companies do not plan to destroy the Earth but it does happen, let us not be naive and protect our environment before we harm it.

An oil spill can occur anywhere there is petroleum handling.

On a platform, a ship, transport pipe, inland and onshore, at production headers, on a Christmas tree that may leak, improper cement job, management of a manifold of gas for sale can cause stress and instability and lead to a blow. Another main cause is having a blowout while drilling.

An example of a horrible oil spill is the union oil platform oil spill in 1969 in California.

A study was done at an area when there were regular oil spills and oil sheen in the water offshore a Caribbean mainland and the study showed that zooplankton was the main contributor for bringing this oil into our food chain and supply.\

Most treatments involve an in situ effluent onsite, with carbon dioxide to dissolve the oil and return normal living conditions.

How to make a good business card?

It is usually 3" x 4" in size. Time to let our creative juices flow.

A business card is a card used for referral contact information concerning a company. It is a small card , that almost everybody is familiar with when doing transactions. Transactions whereby large bank negotiators must have to small business shopkeepers. The business card is put in place to ensure that the company and the representative is well reflected at all times. Sizes usually are 2 inches width by 3.5 inches length.
The business card is essential for contacting a business or an employee from a firm for a job. On it must have the time of operation for the business, company or employee email addresses,  cell  phone and work phone numbers, job position and the business motto. People have to be able to contact you. When ordering business cards it is better to have more cards than less.

Successful job performance

Successful job performance is what every employer desires. In the workplace there is a status quo of friendliness and excellent teamwork. Teamwork speaks wonders to any employer looking for an employee to be an addition to the company. Job success does not only rest with teamwork. Judgement or decision making plays an important role. Group decisions during teamwork and to be able to share and receive information across groups. Proper team work and work ethics ensure that quality work is done in any job. The energy to perform a quality, detailed and accurate job is reflected in appraisal and job performance. No energy; bad performance and no motivation is reflected in an unhealthy work environment. Reliability and keeping of commitments for successful job performance and efficient use of time while on the job. The idea of cause - effect relationship and troubleshooting should be adopted and maintained for all information. Adaptability to be able to deal with change and diverse people and managing oneself effectively. Planning and organizing for allocating and using resources properly. Helps to be able to set priorities and schedule tasks. Communication for handling of information appropriately. Honesty and integrity to adhere to company policies and not break the law and an employee must be able to share complete and accurate information without breaking commitments. Stress tolerance is a must have in the workplace. Emotional connections run deep and it is easy to become distracted in the workplace because of no support and lots of pressure. Initiative is a true treasure on the workplace because this is where the real ground zero work happens. People with initiative take action to influence events and generate ideas for improvement.

Sun Produces Energy

Light and heat comes from the sun.
Some people believed that the sun is a giant burning coal., others idea that the meteorites falling into the sun released its energy.

The nuclear energy in the sun is eminence.
Thermonuclear fusion where nuclei of atoms join together.
The changing of Hydrogen into helium in the sun results in release into heat and light.
Hydrogen , the most abundant element in the universe makes up approximately three-fourths of the sun's mass.

Energy Investing

Trinidad's energy Sector is looking inward and outward. The need to attract investment is necessary to stand globally. Foreign investment is a major catalyst for the development of the country. Foreign investment triggers and stimulates technology advancements , facilitates human capital formation , international trade and integration, generates competition , new opportunities for local enterprise and talent development. If the nature of the business is competitive the income increase would also be competitive. For foreign investment to be efficient it requires supportive local policies, a predictable regulatory environment and an absence of unnecessary administrative hurdles to business.
In the 2012-2013 global competitiveness index (GDI) Trinidad &  Tobago's rank dropped from 81 to 84 out of 144 countries.
Trinidad is strong in macroeconomic environment , health and primary education , judicial independence and gross national savings. In addition, based on the index, productivity is low, flexibility of wage determination is too rigid and industrial relations climate is characterized by adversarial wrangling and lack of cooperation.

Sun

The sun is an amazing source of energy, it makes up 99.8% of the mass of the entire solar system.

The mass of the sun is 1,047 times that of Jupiter, the largest planet of the solar system.

It is about 333,000 times of the Earth.

Objects weigh more on the sun than they do on earth.

The sun was born about 4,600,000,000 years ago. scientists say.

It formed when gravity pulled gas and dust together.
As the mass contracted the center became so hot that nuclear reactions began producing the sun's energy.

A person who weighs 45 kilograms on the earth would weigh 1270 kilograms on the sun.
Zones of the sun are the photo sphere (5500 degC); convection zone (1,100,000 degC); radiative zone (2,500,000 degC) and the core (15,000,000 degC).

Sun spots occur at the photosphere. It controls the orbits of the planets through the force of gravity.
Gases are pulled to the center of the sun.

Three - fourths of the mass of the sun consists of hydrogen, the lightest known element. a fourth consists of helium. The sun spins like a top, just as the earth revolves around the sun; the #sun revolves around the center of the Milky Way galaxy.
The sun makes a month to spin around its axis.
225 million years to rotate around the Milky Way galaxy.
More than 100 billion stars make up the Milky Way, which is only one of the billions of galaxies in the universe.
The sun provides heat and light for life, affects the #weather and creates a green house effect.
The sun is an energy source.
Solar energy is widely used in the industry a natural resource from the sun. Human culture adopted the sun as a God in mythology and sun worship, ancient peoples built monuments to the sun.
It is used in art, literature and music. It acts as a thermonuclear furnace when discussing solar energy theories and solar magnetism. There are solar flares, solar radiation, prominences , solar eruption and solar wind.

Energy -Newton's 1st Law

Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. Law of conservation. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction; newton's 1st law.

Heavy Oil

The Western Hemisphere possesses 69 percent of the world's technically recoverable heavy oil and 82 percent of the technically recoverable natural bitumen. In contrast, the Eastern Hemisphere possesses about 85 percent of the world's light oil reserves. Heavy oil and natural bitumen are present worldwide. The largest extra-heavy oil accumulation is the Venezuelan Orinoco heavy-oil belt containing 90 percent of the world's extra-heavy oil when measured on an in-place basis. Eighty-one percent of the world's known recoverable bitumen is located in the Alberta, Canada accumulation. Together the two deposits contain about 3,600 billion barrels of oil in place.

Coal

A black or brown rock that can be ignited or burned. When coal burns it produces energy as heat. This heat is mainly used to produce electricity. An increase in the use of coal could lead to a reduction in the need for non-renewable resources ; oil and gas. Coal has developed from the remains of plants that died 400million to 1million years ago. It is referred to as fossil fuel. Coal forming plants probably grew in swamps. No reliable estimates exist for the total amount of coal that lies beneath the earth's surface.

Oil and Gas Trinidad GDP

Oil and gas operations account for at least 40% of Trindad and Tobago's GDP.

Organic material deposited by the Orinoco Delta movement millions of years ago feeds the demand of the public.
